Achieve Pinal is a regional grassroots effort dedicated to working with education, government, business and other interested community partners to develop a competitive workforce for future jobs by improving educational attainment in Pinal County.

Currently in Arizona, only 45 percent of adults have education beyond a high school diploma. However, in less than five years, nearly 70 percent of jobs will require education beyond high school. In order for Arizona to be competitive, we need to focus on increasing the number of individuals who are equipped with a high value professional certificate or degree.

Articulating curriculum from kindergarten through post-secondary education is essential to better prepare students to be skilled workers and job ready for new jobs coming to the region. Retraining current workers towards higher skills will create a more qualified workforce.

Anticipating the arrival of new employers and many other existing employers countywide, Achieve Pinal is working to improve educational attainment and develop a qualified workforce.
