Arizona Community Foundation Scholarship

  • High school seniors, current college students, graduate students, or adult re-entry students attending accredited schools anywhere in the U.S. may apply.

  • Scholarships are available for two-year and four-year colleges and universities, as well as technical and vocational schools.

  • Must be a high school senior, current college student, or adult re-entry students who are planning to attend

Casa Grande Rotary

  • A minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA for any graduating senior from a public, private or parochial school in the Casa Grande area.

  • Will be attending any post-secondary educational institution, as a full time student in the fall of 2024, and demonstrates a need of financial support.

Cesar E. Chavez Scholarship

  • The Cesar E. Chavez Memorial Committee of Casa Grande is awarding educational scholarships for a maximum of $1,000 for the 2023-24 school year.

  • The applicant must be a current Pinal County resident, senior in high school, and complete all of the requirements listed in the link below.

  • Payment of scholarship funds is contingent upon satisfactory proof of acceptance and enrollment in a post-secondary institution.

Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship

This scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship that is awarded to a graduating high school senior.

To be eligible for the scholarship:

Community Foundation for Southern Arizona

CU Succeed Scholarship

Every year, Arizona Central Credit Union awards two (2) $2,000 CU Succeed Scholarships to eligible graduating high school seniors.

Who is eligible:

  • Graduating high school seniors with a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Scholarship recipients must maintain their credit union membership in good standing to remain eligible

  • Must be accepted to and plan on attending full-time (12 credit hours minimum both semesters) at an accredited college, university, community college, or technical/trade school located in Arizona

Scholarship details and eligibility:

  • Scholarships are renewable each year for a maximum of four consecutive years

  • Recipients must attend consecutive fall and spring semesters as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours both semesters)

  • A minimum GPA of 2.5 must be maintained each semester and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0

  • $1,000 will be paid upon proof of registration for the fall semester following high school graduation

  • Upon proof of successful completion of the fall semester, an additional $1,000 will be paid upon proof of registration for the spring semester

  • In the second, third, and fourth years, $1,000 will be paid at the start of each semester (fall and spring) upon proof of minimum GPA standards and registration

Cypress Creek Renewables Energizing Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship

Curious about future careers in solar energy or another STEM-related field? Looking for scholarships to cover the high costs of college? Cypress Creek Renewables is awarding $1,000, one-time scholarships to high school seniors and you may be eligible!

Who is Eligible?

Scholarship recipients for 2024 must be graduating high school seniors who attend school within the boundaries of one of the following counties: Pinal County, AZ; Elbert County, CO; Pueblo County, CO; Boone County, IL; Davidson County, NC; Granville County, NC; Person County, NC; Scotland County, NC; Luna County, NM; Lander County, NV; Jefferson County, NY; Suffolk County, NY; Carbon County, PA; Clarion County, PA; Erie County, PA; Somerset County, PA; Venango County, PA; Grundy County, TN; Madison County, TN; Dallas County, TX; Freestone County, TX; Galveston County, TX; Hidalgo County, TX; Robertson County, TX; Tarrant County, TX; Klickitat County, WA; Yakima County, WA. 

Scholarships will be granted to students pursuing 4-year, 2-year, or certificate programs at an accredited community college or university. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate an interest in a career in the renewable energy industry or a STEM-related field but all eligible students are welcome to apply. Proof of enrollment will be required prior to fund dispersal, and scholarships will be paid directly to the college or university. 

The scholarship program is open to students attending public, charter, or private schools, or who are home-schooled, within the boundaries of one of the eligible counties.

Selection Criteria Used

  • Academic, athletic, leadership, or other involvement throughout their high school career (community, clubs, volunteer, work, etc.)

  • Awards and recognition at school, in the community, and/or through personal activities and/or overall GPA

  • The quality of the student's Personal Statement with preference given to students planning to pursue a career in the renewable energy industry or a STEM-related major

  • Creativity and quality of required video

Scholarships are awarded on an objective and non-discriminatory basis, with neither race, creed, color, sex, age, religion nor disability being considered.

Dell Scholars Program Scholarship

500 students (Dell scholars) are selected each year to receive the scholarship and non-monetary support.

Dell scholars receive:

  • $20,000 scholarship

  • A laptop with a 4-year warranty

  • Chegg credits ($500 annually for 4-years) that can be sued to purchase or rent textbooks and textbook solutions

  • Scholars Resource Network

  • Teletherapy service

  • Personalized support for academic, financial, and emotional changes that could prevent the student from completing their courses

Eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a participant in a program-approved college readiness program in their junior and senior year in high school

  • Be on track to graduate

  • Earned a minimum of a 2.4 GPA

  • Demonstrate a need for financial assistance

  • Eligible to receive a federal Pell Grant in their first year of college

  • Will enroll and attend an accredited higher education institution in the pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in the fall after graduating from high school.

Desert Financial Foundation

Desert Financial Foundation believes strong communities are built by citizens who have received a good education. We proudly offer scholarships for high school seniors who volunteer in their communities, adults (25 and older) who are pursuing certificates or degrees and high school student athletes who overcome obstacles.

  • High school student athlete scholarships

    • Arizona Breaking Barriers Student Athlete scholarships are awarded to seniors in high school who have broken barriers or overcome obstacles to achieve their goals.

  • Community Service Scholarships

    • The Community Service Scholarship is available to members (or relatives of members) who are high school seniors that volunteer 50 or more hours in the community.

Dorrance Scholarship

The Dorrance Scholarship Award is $12,000 per academic year for up to four years. This is a scholarship program valued at over $100,000!

Eligibility to apply. You may be eligible if you:

  • Are an Arizona resident

  • Are a current graduating senior attending a public, private, charter, or home school

  • Will be a first-generation college student (neither parent, stepparent, or legal guardian holds a four-year degree from any country)

  • Have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA (weighted or unweighted)

  • Have a minimum test score of 1110 SAT, 22 ACT, or 72 CLT

  • Demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA

  • Plan to attend ASU-Tempe, NAU-Flagstaff, UA-Tucson

  • Agree to live in on-campus housing during freshman and sophomore year

Eligibility for award. Recipients of the award will:

  • Sign the Scholar Participation Agreement

  • Agree to participate in all aspects of the program and be eligible to travel internationally

  • Attend the Dorrance New Scholar Orientation

  • Successfully complete the Dorrance Summer Bridge Program

Renewal Criteria. Current scholars will:

  • Attend all Program meetings and events

  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA

  • Study full-time

  • Perform volunteer service

  • Submit a year-end report

  • Complete the FAFSA annually

TheDream.US National Scholarship

TheDream.US scholarships are for highly motivated undocumented students who want to get a college education but are unable to afford the cost. They have no access to federal aid, limited access to state aid, and they sometimes face paying out-of-state tuition.

The National Scholarship is for students eligible for in-state tuition at one of our 80+ Partner Colleges. (Not applicable if it is a private Partner College in your state.)

  • Applications are open to immigrant students with or without DACA or TPS who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and before Nov. 1, 2018. and qualify for in-state tuition at one of our Partner Colleges to receive this scholarship. We also offer an online college option. The Scholarship is for up to $16,500 for an associate’s degree and $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree.

  • Some Scholars may receive an additional stipend for books, supplies, and transportation for up to $6,000. While we consider your GPA, we place great emphasis on your dedication to community service and your commitment to academic and career success despite the barriers and challenges that undocumented students face daily.

  • The award follows students through the completion of a bachelor’s degree and is renewable each year – Recipients must meet the continuing eligibility criteria and renew the award each summer.

  • 2024-25 National Scholarship Round closes on February 29, 2024.

Education Forward Arizona Scholarship

Scholarship Awards

  • Student may be eligible to receive up to $6,000 per year ($2,000 – $3,000 per semester) for up to 4 years

  • Intended for students planning to obtain a bachelor’s degree within 4 years; beginning your education at a community college for the first 2 years is an option

  • Mentoring and Success Services (see below)

Mentoring and Success Services

  • Quarterly coaching/mentoring from a dedicated Success Adviser

  • Peer networking sessions, trainings and workshops

  • Links to on-campus resource centers

  • Internship and career support

Eligibility

  • Student must be actively involved in one of the Arizona College Access Network (AzCAN) member college access programs or high schools.

  • Student must demonstrate high potential and motivation to succeed in college

  • Student must have a 3.0 Weighted Cumulative GPA

  • Student must be a graduate of an Arizona high school and entering college or a university as a first-time enrollee

  • Student must be a citizen/legal resident of Arizona and be Pell Grant eligible

  • Undocumented Students must be eligible for in-state tuition (attended an Arizona high school for two years and graduated) and are required to complete the Federal Student Aid Estimator

El Valle Puede Scholarship

The El Valle Puede Scholarship is provided by Helios Education Foundation and Suns/Mercury Foundation.

General Criteria

The “El Valle Puede” Scholarship Program in partnership with Helios Education Foundation supports Arizona high school seniors with financial need attending an accredited post-secondary institution and pursuing any field of study. Students must be enrolled full-time in an accredited Arizona university. Student eligibility criteria for the scholarships are: 

  • Must be of Latino heritage 

  • Graduating high school senior from an Arizona public high school 

  • Have and maintain a 2.5 or higher cumulative academic GPA 

  • Demonstrate financial need as determined by Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Federal Student Aid Estimator (if undocumented).

  • Student Pell Grant Eligible 

  • Have been accepted into, or expect to be accepted into, an accredited Arizona public university. 

  • A well-rounded student achieved through any of the following: sports, leadership, and volunteerism, etc. (basketball connection is preferred) 

Award Amounts

Students who apply will be eligible to receive one of two scholarships.

Award amount of up to $12,500 per year based on Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR’s) in-state tuition rate or remaining cost of attendance (lesser of the two). Funds may be used for tuition, fees, books or other educational expenses. Scholarships are renewable for up to three additional years of study if students are in good standing and maintain the required GPA.  
 
Award amount of up to $2,500 per year based on tuition rates at an in-state community college. Scholarships are renewable for one additional year. Funds may be used for tuition, fees, books or other educational expenses.

Elks Legacy Award

  • Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships available to children and grandchildren of Elks members.

  • Must be a high school senior.

  • Apply online only. The 2024 Legacy Awards application deadline is February 5, 2024, 11:59 a.m. Pacific Time.

Executive Women International Scholarship Program

The Executive Women International Scholarship Program is an annual, competition-based program which awards college scholarship money each year to qualifying high school seniors. Judges select winning students based on their scholastic achievement, leadership qualities, good citizenship, and extra-curricular activities. EWI believes that the EWISP Program will positively impact the personal life, employment, family, and community of the applicant.

The EWISP Scholarship is a non-discriminatory, educational scholarship program for the benefit of traditional students pursuing an associates, bachelor's or master's degree, or certification program in a specific career path.

  • High school seniors enrolled in a public, private, charter or parochial school located within the boundaries of a participating EWI Chapter or persons who are homeschooled.

  • Plans to pursue a degree at an accredited post-secondary institution

  • Demonstrated financial need

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale

  • Have contributed to their community as demonstrated by their involvement in extracurricular activities, employment, civic or volunteer activities.

Applicants must reside within the boundaries of a participating Chapter. Participating Chapters are listed here.

2024-25 applications should open some time in January 2024 and will close around March of 2024.

Flinn Scholarship

  • The Flinn Scholarship Program, in partnership with Arizona’s three state universities, provides enriched educational offerings that expand a Scholar’s life and career options while creating the kind of stimulating, intellectually challenging environment that some students assume can only be found at the nation’s most selective colleges.

  • The 2024 Flinn Scholarship application for current high-school seniors is closed. But it’s never too early for the Class of 2025 and beyond to learn more about this opportunity.

  • Be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder) by time of application;

  • Be an Arizona resident for two full years immediately preceding entry to the university.

  • As a general rule, Flinn Scholarship applicants should:

    • Attain at least a 3.5 grade-point average (unweighted)

    • Rank in the top 5 percent of their graduationg class (if the school reports class rank); and

    • Participate and demonstrate leadership in a variety of extracurricular activities

    • Flinn Scholarship applicants must submit SAT or ACT scores, but there is no minimum score needed to apply.

Florence Copper

  • The Florence Copper "Creating Opportunities" Scholarship Program awards scholarships of varying amounts to local students in the community who demonstrate outstanding achievements. Since the program was established in 2011, Florence Copper has awarded over $79,000 in scholarships to talented students in Florence and surrounding communities to help them pursue higher education.

Foster Success - Arizona

Foster Success Arizona offers 2 programs:

  • The Arizona Education and Training Voucher (ETV)

    • The Arizona Education and Training Voucher (ETV) Program is a federally-funded, state-administered program that provides financial, academic, and student support for young people who are or have been in foster care and are enrolled in qualified colleges, universities, or vocational education programs.

  • The Arizona Tuition Waiver (TW)

    • If you are attending an Arizona public community college, four-year college, or university, you may be eligible for the Arizona Tuition Waiver. You must have been in foster care at some point after the age of 14 and meet all requirements of the Arizona ETV program and must receive your first disbursement of funding before your 23rd birthday. The Arizona ETV program is open to any current and former young person in foster care who meets at least one of these criteria:

  • You are a young person who is or was in U.S. foster care on or after your 16th birthday for ETV (14th for Tuition Waiver)

  • You were adopted from U.S. foster care with the adoption finalized after your 16th birthday for ETV (14th for Tuition Waiver)

Additionally you must:

  • Be an Arizona resident

  • Be a U.S. citizen or qualified non-citizen

  • Have personal assets (bank account, car, home, etc.) worth less than $10,000

  • Be enrolled in a degree, certificate or other accredited program and show that you are making satisfactory academic progress.

Arizona ETV recipients must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA each term. Students must submit an academic transcript showing grades and GPA from the most recently completed semester/term

McDonald’s Hispanic American Commitment to Education Resources (HACER) National Scholarship

To be eligible for the scholarship:

  • A high school senior

  • Younger than 21

  • A legal U.S. resident

  • Have a minimum 2.8 GPA

  • Will enroll and attend a community college or university with a full-time course of study

  • Disclose other scholarship programs you’ve applied for

  • Have at least one parent that is of Hispanic heritage.

Those selected to receive the scholarship will be based on:

  • Academic achievement

  • Financial need

  • Community involvement

  • Academic achievement

  • Personal qualities and strengths that were portrayed from their interview

Maricopa County 4-H Scholarship

  • Financial support for 4-H members is available in a variety of ways: 4-H Scholarships, 4-H Activity Support Fund, and 4-H Program Fee Stipends. All of these are funded by a variety of sources and are supported based on availability of funds each year.

Native American Scholarship Program

The application for the Freeport-McMoRan Native American College Scholarship and the Freeport-McMoRan Navajo Code Talkers Scholarship will be open from February 1 – June 1, 2024.

This scholarship is funded by the Freeport-McMoRan Foundation and administered by Education Forward Arizona. The value of this scholarship is:

  • $3,000/per semester for students enrolled in a four-year program at a university or tribal college

  • $1,500/per semester for students enrolled in a two-year program at a community college or tribal college

  • $5,000/per semester for students enrolled in a graduate program

  • For students enrolled at a trade or technical school, the value of this scholarship will be determined by program length, not to exceed $15,000

Program Requirements

Students awarded with a scholarship are also required to participate in the Success Services Program, in partnership with Education Forward Arizona. The participation requirements include:

  • Participation in advising sessions with a Success Adviser twice per semester

  • Keeping in constant contact with your Success Adviser

  • Submit all paperwork, including transcripts, schedules, school changes and other requests by Education Forward Arizona or your Success Adviser

  • Respond to all Education Forward Arizona communication within 48 hours

  • Attend the Annual Leadership Symposium (if required by your Success Adviser)

  • Attend one Scholar Success Network meeting per semester

  • Follow the College and Career Success Milestones as presented by your Success Adviser

Selection Criteria

  • Be an enrolled member of one of the following tribal communities with priority given to students from the first five listed tribes:

    • Hualapai Tribe

    • Navajo Nation

    • San Carlos Apache Tribe

    • Tohono O’odham Nation

    • White Mountain Apache Tribe

    • Ak-Chin Indian Community

    • Prior receipt of a scholarship does not guarantee a future academic year scholarship.

Pinal 40 Scholarship

  • Pinal 40, Inc. will be awarding scholarships to individuals who have a desire to further their education and/or seek a career in Agriculture, CTE or a STEM-related field.

  • Must be a graduating senior from a Pinal County high school OR Must be a student from Pinal County who passed the General Education Development (GED) test OR Must be a homeschool student from Pinal County who can provide a certificate of completion from their home schooling program OR Must be a full time college student from Pinal County or attending college in Pinal County

  • Have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA

  • All applicants must submit their Official High School (for high school seniors) or College (for college students) Transcripts

  • Three Letters of Recommendation (at least one of these must be from a teacher, counselor or equivalent source)

  • Applications must be typed

Resolution Copper

Resolution Copper is dedicated to ensuring that today’s local students are tomorrow’s qualified candidates for careers in Arizona’s mining industry. Our scholarships provide financial assistance as a means of aiding local graduating high school seniors in their pursuit of higher education while encouraging students of promise to explore career opportunities in the mining industry and related fields centered on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Since 2002, Resolution Copper has awarded nearly $800,000 to over 200 local students through their scholarship program. They want to ensure that today’s local students are tomorrow’s qualified candidates for Arizona’s mining industry careers. Their scholarship program provides up to $3,000 in financial assistance to local graduating high school seniors to pursue higher education while encouraging students of promise to explore career opportunities in the mining industry and related fields centered on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Sallie Mae $2,000 Scholarship Sweepstakes

(the "Sweepstakes") begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") Sunday, January 01, 2024 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on Sunday, December 31, 2024 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Sponsor's computer is the official clock for this Sweepstakes.

The $2,000 Sallie Mae Scholarship Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and any US Territory age 17 or older at the time of entry, and who meet one (1) of the four (4) following eligibility requirements at the time of entry:

  • a parent who currently has a child enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States;

  • a student who is currently enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States;

  • a parent who currently has a child enrolled as a high school senior located within the United States;

  • a student who is currently enrolled as a high school junior or senior who intends to enroll in an accredited college or university located with the United States, within a year of graduating high school ("Entrant").

Shared Energy Future Foundation Scholarship Fund

The Shared Energy Future Foundation offers science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and Trade scholarships to help the next generation of students succeed and innovate in STEM, as well as other disciplines in the energy industry. This year, we’ve allocated $20,000 in scholarship awards. Scholarships offered are:

  • Shared Energy Future Foundation STEM scholarship

  • Shared Energy Future Foundation Trades scholarship

Scholarship applications are currently open and the deadline to submit is January 31, 2024.

Simon Youth Foundation

Simon Youth Foundation works to help students achieve their goals, and cost alone should not prevent a student from furthering their education. Each year, SYF awards, on average, $1 million, based on available funding, in scholarships to help students with the cost of post-secondary education.

Scholarships SYF is currently offering:

  • Shari Simon Greenberg Community Scholarships of the Simon Youth Foundation are available to high school seniors living near a Simon mall or in the surrounding communities.

  • Simon Youth Academy Scholarships are available only to graduates of Simon Youth Academies.

  • Greg Saunders Legacy Program Scholarships are available only to dependents of a Simon Property Group employee.

The application period for the 2023-2024 academic year will open on/or about Friday, September 1, 2023. All applications must be submitted by February 16, 2024.
